LDH are committed to purchase goods from reputable suppliers who are regularly audited and approved against recognised industry standards and codes of practice, and who can demonstrate their ability to supply products that are safe, legal and of a consistent quality.
The company has procedures in place to ensure that it provides products that comply with the Food Safety Act (1990) and other relevant UK and E.U. legislation.
Members of the technical department are committed to:
- Offering technical support and expertise to our producers and distributors worldwide
- Checking all products on arrival in the UK to enable continuous monitoring and analysis of quality indicators, which provide feedback, to enable quality improvement by suppliers against customer needs and expectations.
- Controlling new product development at every stage from initial concept to launch and forward monitoring of production and distribution
- Ensuring all packaging and product labelling meets the requirement of UK and E.U. food labelling and associated regulations
LDH are committed to ethical sourcing of products and require that our suppliers comply with local laws governing labour, employment, and health and safety.
